Day 1

ZAGREB

Welcome to Croatia! Visit Croatian capital and find out about its magnificent history. Take a glimpse on a fantastic legacy of Croatian capital as we walk you through the most enchanting sites of the city. Visit one of the most picturesque city squares of Southeast Europe – Ban Jelacic Square – to hear about the history of Zagreb. Continue through cities of Kaptol and Gradec, today united in Zagreb. Visit Dolac Market for a taste of Zagreb. Stroll along the walls of Kaptol to the Upper Town to enjoy the spectacular view. Walk through Tkalciceva street, which used to divide the two medieval cities. Climb the Lotrscak Tower, where cannon announces noon each day.

Day 2

VARAZDIN & TRAKOSCAN CASTLE

We will take a walking tour through the Old City of Varazdin to enjoy fantastic palaces. Stroll along the beautiful streets, marked with old guild signs, to Ursuline church and Square of Traditional Crafts. Visit the City Market – Varazdinski Plac – and take a peek at beautiful Varazdin backyards.Continue to Trakoscan Castle, a jewel of Medieval architecture, and visit an extraordinary display of medieval arts and crafts, weapons and tools. Take a stroll by Trakoscan Lake for a romantic touch before we head back to Zagreb.

Day 3

ZAGREB - RIJEKA

After the breakfast we will set out towards the gate of Istria, the northernmost peninsula of Adriatic sea. On route we will visit one of the most iconic wineries of continental Croatia – magnificent Jagunic winery. Continue towards Karlovac, a medieval town set at the very crossroad between coastline and continent. Arrival at Rijeka at late afternoon, check-in at the hotel and free time for leisure.

Day 4

RIJEKA & OPATIJA

We will start our exploration of Istria at its very gates – picturesque towns of Rijeka and Opatija. Enjoy the Adriatic North with fantastic views over the islands of Krk and Cres. Learn about the most respected resort of European aristocracy in 18th and 19th century as we take you to beautiful Opatija town. Return to the hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 5

PULA

Today we will travel to the very peak of Istria, an ancient town of Pula. Feel the mixture of Central European and Mediterranean spirit as we dive into a genuine time-travel experience. Walk along the paths of ancient Romans. Pass through the Triumphal Arch of the Sergii, Roman noble family, and stroll along the Forum to visit the Temple of Augustus, built at the very beginning of the 1st century AD. Pass through the Hercules Gate and visit the hallmark of Pula – magnificent Roman Arena, the sixth-largest in the world! Check-in at the hotel for overnight.

Day 6

BRIJUNI ISLANDS

Take a boat ride to Brijuni islands, the most favorite getaway of late Ex-Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito. A full day tour of Brijuni islands and National Park will take you back to a surreal world of Ex-Yugoslav president Tito, one of the most colorful figures of modern history. Visit Safari park, comprising of the most exotic animals and plants which were given to Tito. Visit fantastic remnants of the ancient Roman and Byzantine era and take a peak into the dinosaur traces. Take the path of Yugoslav lifetime president Tito and visit to his residence and today’s museum dedicated to his intriguing life. Return to hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 7

ROVINJ & UMAG

Head towards Rovinj, a beautiful picturesque city which used to be an island. Enjoy the stroll through the narrow cobbled streets as we visit magnificent church of St. Euphemia, the largest baroque building in Istria. Pass through the Balbi Arch, former entrance to the city, which testifies of the power of Rovinj during the Venetian Republic. Continue to Umag, one of the most beautiful coastal towns of the Adriatic. Follow the road to the magnificent Wine Residence for a taste of fabulous Istria wines with dinner. Return to hotel for leisure and overnight.

Day 8

TRIESTE

A full day tour to Italy will take us to one of the most intriguing cities of Adriatic coast. Visit beautiful Trieste and learn about its fabulous history. Learn about the conflict between Yugoslavia and Italy after the WWII and the interest of both countries in Trieste. Enjoy free time in shopping Mecca. Return to Pula in late afternoon hours for rest and overnight.

Day 12-13

ZADAR

Check-out from the hotel and board on a ferry toward Northern Dalmatia and city of Zadar. Enjoy fabulous 4 hour ride as we cruise between the beautiful Kornati islands, and fantastic archipelago surrounding Zadar coast. Arrive to Zadar and set out to an intense story of the pirates of Adriatic, and dive into fantastic history as we pass the Mainland Gate to enter the Old Town and starto our tour. Finish at the hotel for check-in and rest.

Day 14

PLITVICE LAKES

Prepare yourself for a true gem of nature, a magnificent complex of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Enjoy the sheer beauty of dozens of lakes filled by magnificent cascades and waterfalls. With the untouched surroundings of wild forests, Plitvice Lakes will indeed make you feel like you are in a fairytale. Return to Zadar for rest and overnight.

Day 15

SIBENIK & SPLIT

Travel south towards Central Dalmatia and visit the oldest Slavic city on the Adriatic, beautiful Sibenik, nestled in the breathtaking bay and delta of Krka river into the Adriatic. Visit St. James’ Cathedral and its Loggia and explore the magnificent promenade before we set out to the the peculiar Fortress of St Nicolas, located on an islet just outside the Sibenik Bay. Continue to Split, the capital of Dalmatian region. Upon arrival, we will make an introduction to Split. Take a tour of Split, one of the most beautiful cities in Dalmatia, with thousands of years old history. Finish at the hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 16

SPLIT

Enjoy the full day boat ride on the central Dalmatian sea and enjoy fantastic views over the islands Solta, Brac, Hvar and many others. Return to the Split port in the evening for rest and overnight.

Day 17

TROGIR

Visit Split’s neighboring town of Trogir to immerse in the fantastic atmosphere of Croatian Adriatic. Designated as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Trogir is home to numerous fascinating historic sights. Take a tour of Trogir to dive into Dalmatian romantic atmoshpere as we see magnificent Cipiko Palaces and Kamerlengo Fortress. Pass through the City Gate to St. Lawrence Cathedral and magnificent City Loggia. Return to Split for leisure and overnight.

Day 18

DUBROVNIK

We are leaving Dalmatia today, because… Magnificent Dubrovnik is waiting for us! Reveal fabulous history and legends of one of the most prominent cities in Medieval times. Walk along impressive ramparts, pass through the Pile Gate and take a stroll along Stradun, the beating heart of the city, to feel the lavish spirit of Dubrovnik. Finish at the hotel for check-in and rest.

Day 19

MLJET ISLAND

Set sail for the archipelago of South Dalmatia. Sail along the Elafiti islands to the magnificent Mljet island and enjoy deep blue color of the Adriatic sea. Visit one of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic sea, covered with lush forests. There is a reason why Mljet is called „the most seductive island in the Adriatic“, and we will show you why. Visit magnificent lakes of Mljet National Park and explore beautiful sites of Sobra and Pomena. Take a lunch break in a restaurant set in beautiful Benedictine monastery. Immerse into fabulous atmosphere of this Adriatic gem before we return back to Dubrovnik.

DAY 1 - ZAGREB - arrival

Welcome to Croatia! After your arrival you will be picked up at the Zagreb International Airport and our voyage can start. Visit Croatian capital and find out about its magnificent history.

Take a glimpse on a fantastic legacy of Croatian capital as we walk you through the most enchanting sites of the city. Visit one of the most picturesque city squares of Southeast Europe – Ban Jelacic Square – to hear about the history of Zagreb. Continue through cities of Kaptol and Gradec, today united in Zagreb. Experience old parts of Zagreb, culture, history and learn about a life of locals. Visit beautiful Zagreb Cathedral, the tallest building in Croatia. Visit Dolac Market for a taste of Zagreb. Stroll along the walls of Kaptol to the Upper Town to enjoy the spectacular view. Walk through Tkalciceva street, which used to divide the two medieval cities. Pass through the secret tunnel from WWII to the famous funicular, and take a fantastic ride. Climb the Lotrscak Tower, where cannon announces noon each day. Take a walk on the most romantic promenade – Strossmeier Promenade to 17th Century Baroque church of St. Catherine. Visit the hallmark of Zagreb – beautiful church of St. Mark and enter through magnificent Porta di Pietra to the Main Square at Radiceva street.

DAY 2 - VARAZDIN & TRAKOSCAN CASTLE

City of Varazdin belongs to beautiful gems of Baroque. We will take a walking tour through the Old City to enjoy fantastic palaces. Visit the local cemetery, one of the most beautiful ones in Europe. Stroll along the beautiful streets, marked with old guild signs, to Ursuline church and Square of Traditional Crafts. Visit the City Market – Varazdinski Plac – and take a peek at beautiful Varazdin backyards. Set your clock for 11 o’clock for the guard switch of the Purgars in front of the City Hall.

Continue to Trakoscan Castle, a jewel of Medieval architecture, and visit an extraordinary display of medieval arts and crafts, weapons and tools. Take a stroll by Trakoscan Lake for a romantic touch before we head back to Zagreb.

DAY 3 - ZAGREB - RIJEKA

After the breakfast we will set out towards the gate of Istria, the northernmost peninsula of Adriatic sea. On route we will visit one of the most iconic wineries of continental Croatia – magnificent Jagunic winery. Enjoy in tour while we learn about the wine making tradition, and finally try out some of the most respected wines with local specialties.

Continue towards Karlovac, a medieval town set at the very crossroad between coastline and continent. Its fantastic history will reveal as we learn about the outpost against Ottoman expansion. Stroll along the old city center and enjoy the baroque atmosphere before we continue our journey towards Istria. Arrival at Rijeka at late afternoon, check-in at the hotel and free time for leisure.

DAY 4 - RIJEKA & OPATIJA

We will start our exploration of Istria at its very gates – picturesque towns of Rijeka and Opatija. Enjoy the Adriatic North with fantastic views over the islands of Krk and Cres. DAY 7 - ROVINJ & UMAG

Head towards Rovinj, a beautiful picturesque city which used to be an island. Enjoy the stroll through the narrow cobbled streets as we visit magnificent church of St. Euphemia, the largest baroque building in Istria. Pass through the Balbi Arch, former entrance to the city, which testifies of the power of Rovinj during the Venetian Republic. Follow Grisia street, the main artery of Rovinj, to the City Palace.

Continue to Umag, one of the most beautiful coastal towns of the Adriatic. Stroll through the compact Old Town to the church of St Rocco. Visit the Bishop’s Tower and fantastic museum dedicated to the history of Istria; visit Savudrija lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Croatia, which operates even nowadays. Follow the road to the magnificent Wine Residence for a taste of fabulous Istria wines with dinner. Return to hotel for leisure and overnight.

DAY 8 - TRIESTE

A full day tour to Italy will take us to one of the most intriguing cities of Adriatic coast. Visit beautiful Trieste and learn about its fabulous history. Learn about the conflict between Yugoslavia and Italy after the WWII and the interest of both countries in Trieste. Enjoy free time in shopping Mecca. Return to Pula in late afternoon hours for rest and overnight.

DAY 12 - ZADAR

Check-out from the hotel and board on a ferry toward Northern Dalmatia and city of Zadar. DAY 14 - PLITVICE LAKES

DAY 15 - SIBENIK & SPLIT

Continue to Split, the capital of Dalmatian region. Upon arrival, we will make an introduction to Split. Take a tour of Split, one of the most beautiful cities in Dalmatia, with thousands of years old history. Visit Marjan Forest Park for a magnificent view over the city. As we decend we will see the monument to Gregory of Nin, one of the most influential Dalmatians from XI century. Visit fabulous St. Domnius Cathedral with a fantastic bell tower before we set our path to the era of Ancient Rome. Visit magnificent palace of Roman emperor Diocletianus and dive into the ancient times as we pass the main gates of the complex. Visit Jupiter’s Temple through the narrow street called „let me through“ and enjoy the atmosphere of fabulous Riva promenade. Finish at the hotel for rest and overnight.

DAY 16 - SPLIT

Enjoy the full day boat ride on the central Dalmatian sea and enjoy fantastic views over the islands Solta, Brac, Hvar and many others. Return to the Split port in the evening for rest and overnight.

Walk along impressive ramparts, pass through the Pile Gate and take a stroll along Stradun, the beating heart of the city, to feel the lavish spirit of Dubrovnik. We will see fantastic 15th century Onofrio Fountain and the Franciscan monastery holding one of the oldest working pharmacies in Europe; gather up at the favorite meeting point of the locals – the Orlando Column, just steps away from fabulous Sponza Palace and church of St Blaise. Stroll along the narrow cobbled streets to the Market Square and beautiful Jesuite Monastery. Finish at the hotel for check-in and rest.

DAY 19 - MLJET ISLAND

Set sail for the archipelago of South Dalmatia. Sail along the Elafiti islands to the magnificent Mljet island and enjoy deep blue color of the Adriatic sea.
