DAY 1 15.05.2024. SARAJEVO
Arrival to Sarajevo International Airport. You will meet your guide and depart to the City Center. Before we start exploring Sarajevo, we will enjoy in hefty Balkan breakfast with famous Bosnian pies baked under the bell. Now, recharged – we are ready for Sarajevo adventure! Dive into the very City Center and centuries old Bascarsija Quarter. Feel the spirit of the past as we stroll through the labyrinth of cobbled streets and discover magnificent crafstmanship of the locals. Meet our masters coppersmiths and dive into the tradition of making fabulous jugs, cups and ornaments. Proceed down Bascarsija to Sevdah House, a one-of-a-kind coffee house and museum, and enjoy in traditional Bosnian coffee surrounded my enchanting atmosphere of Old Sarajevo. Continue exploring Bascarsija as we visit Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and famous Bezistan, and pass into Ferhadija street – a genuine artifact from Austro-Hungarian times. Dive into the world of intrigues and fuses that lit up the world hundred years ago. Explore Markale market and the Eternal Flame before we descend by Miljacka River. Enjoy in fabulous surroundings as we pass from one bridge to another and finish at one of the most renowned restaurants of Sarajevo – „Four Rooms of Mrs Safiya“ for a traditional Bosnian lunch.
Finish at the hotel in the afternoon for check-in and rest before we depart to a magnificent dinner with genuine Sarajevo specialties at „Kibe Mahala“ restaurant.
DAY 2 16.05.2024. SARAJEVO – KONJIC – MOSTAR
Check-out after the breakfast, as we head south to Herzegovina region. Enjoy in magnificent scenic ride as we approach our first stop – city of Konjic. Commonly reffered as the „AND“ in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, Konjic is a true border town between the nature, culture and mentality of people from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Visit famous „Atomic City“, a colossal underground bunker raised during the Cold War and explore its numerous corridors, chambers and rooms. With cost of over 4,6 billion USD at that time, Tito’s bunker was one of the most endaring projects in the world of that time! It wasn’t until 20 years ago that the „Atomic City“ opened its door to the public. Continue to the city and discover a magnificent world of woodcarving in a genuine museum. Explore the centuries old tradition of making extraordinary items with such a passion for details, and why not – try it yourself!
Continue southwards to Mostar, but first enjoy in local specialties as it is lunch time in Jablanica.
Arrive at Mostar, and explore the heart of Herzegovina region. Set in the magnificent valley of Neretva river, Mostar is one of the most specific cities in the world: town of two major religions, with heavy influences of Austrian, Mediterranean and Ottoman architecture. Explore the Old Town and its gems such as Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque, Old Bazaar, the Old Bridge and many more.
Finish at the banks of Buna River for check-in, followed by a marvelous display of Herzegovina’s best as we enjoy traditional Wine & Food Pairing Experience.
DAY 3 17.05.2024. MOSTAR – BLAGAJ – POCITELJ – TREBINJE – DUBROVNIK
Check-out and head to the springs of Buna River, an enchanting surrounding guilded by marvelous Dervish Tekki. Enjoy in traditional breakfast in the middle of this magnificent scenery. After the breakfast we will continue to town of Pocitelj, an unusual Medieval town which mixes Balkan, Mediterannean and Oriental styles. Protected as UNESCO World Heritage site, Pocitelj is a focal point of artists from all around the world who seek their inspiration among the stone houses. See magnificent Fortress and 16th Century Hajji Ali Mosque, Shishman-Ibrahim Pasha Medresse, House of Gavran Kapetanovic and famous Clock Tower.
Follow the road to the seaside and take a magnificent boat ride in Hutovo Blato, a Special Nature Reserve and one of the largest bird retreats in Europe.
Continue towards town of Trebinje for a taste of Herzegovinian lunch; and take a chance to explore the southernmost town of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hear about the city’s fabulous history dating back to the Byzantine times, through the rise and fall of Serbian kingdom and all the way through the stories of two mighty empires – Ottoman and Austrian.
Pass the Bosnian-Croatian border and head towards Dubrovnik for check-in and rest. In the evening we will visit the ancient walls of Dubrovnik for dinner with magnificent view over the Adriatic Sea at the prestigious „360 Dubrovnik“ Restaurant.
DAY 4 18.05.2024. DUBROVNIK – CAVTAT – BUDVA – KOTOR
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Spend a morning discovering Dubrovnik’s crowing jewels — its medieval walls and UNESCO World Heritage–listed Old Town — on this 3-hour walking tour. Stroll along the Stradun, the Old Town’s main promenade, topped and tailed by Orlando’s Column and Onofrio's Fountain. Take in ancient landmarks such as the Franciscan Monastery and the Church of St Blaise before deviating down side streets lined with shops, restaurants and further architectural delights. Then, cap your tour with a walk along the city walls for sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea. Set your track to the very tops of Dubrovnik region as we take a cable car ride for a spectacular view over the old town and Elaphiti Islands.
Take a lunch break at „Dubravka 1836“ restaurant before we leave Dubrovnik.
Continue towards the Montenegrin border and make a stop-by at Cavtat, the southernmost town of Croatia. Take a short stroll through its magnificent streets and fantastic panorama over the Konavle region before we continue to Montenegro. Visit Savina Winery, a privately held winery set in the middle of an old monastery, for a touch of Montenegrin premium wines over Wine & Food Pairing dinner before we check-in at the hotel.
DAY 5 19.05.2024. BOKA BAY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will explore one of the most beautiful bays of the Adriatic Sea. Proudly nicknamed as “Bride of Adriatic”, Boka Bay is nested between the colossal mountain ranges and keeps the very soul of Adriatic Navy history. So, prepare to yell „Ahoy, Captain!“ as we will take a tour of Boka Bay by boat. Enjoy in fantastic views of Kotor Town and hear the stories about Boka pirates and naval forces that were highly reckoned in the world.
Continue through the bay to discover magnificent history dating back to the very Ancient Era as we visit town of Risan, a capital of once mighty Illyric nation. Hear the stories about the Illyric valor and wisdom of their queen Teuta. On the way we will pass near some recognizable landmarks like St. Mateus church and Temple of Our Lady.
Take a lunch break with magnificent scenery in „Forte Rose“ restaurant, set at the very entrance to Boka Bay.
Visit town of Perast, the very center of Boka’s naval merchants. Our next stop is at UNESCO protected Old town Perast famous for its Clock Tower built in 1713, which was when built the tallest one in Europe. Discover magnificent family manors and villas and hear the extraordinary legends that run through the area for centuries. Take a ride to the famous Island of Our Lady of the Rocks and visit a unique monastery in the East Adriatic - an artificial island made in XV century by local sailors in honor of Our Lady for safe return from their trips. Present Church was built by Venetians in 1630 and it houses numerous works of art.
Continue towards Porto Montenegro, one of the newest and state-of-the-art areas of East Adriatic. Discover this magnificent complex turned into the town before we set our course back to the hotel. For the dinner we will enjoy Boka specialties at town of Kotor, in famous „Galion“ restaurant.
DAY 6 20.05.2024. KOTOR – BUDVA – SKADAR LAKE – KOTOR
Start from the hotel and head towards the central coastal region of Montenegro. Visit Budva, one of the most popular summer resorts in Montenegro, but moreover – one of the oldest cities in Southeast Adriatic. Explore Budva Old Town and hear fantastic stories as we stroll along the cobbled streets, among the ancient stone houses... Our next destinations are magnificent natural beauties of Montenegro. Lake Skadar has been a protected National Park since 1983, and in 2011 was formally nominated for UNESCO heritage status... But before we set out on exploring this beautiful lake – it is time to take a break for lunch in Rijeka Crnojevica village. Packed with history, we will have the opportunity to taste fantastic local specialties served in a traditional way.
Jump in the boat, as we set our course to a magnificent Skadar Lake tour by boat! You will fall in love with nature and amazing landscapes of Skadar Lake as we take a boat tour. Enjoy in one-of-a-kind picnic as we glide through the mild waves of Skadar Lake, while we taste genuine Montenegrin wines and specialties, along with famous Montenegrin Grappa – Loza.
Return to Boka Bay for a rest, and we will depart to Catovica Mlini for dinner.
DAY 7 21.05.2024. KOTOR – MT LOVCEN – CETINJE – PODGORICA
Today we are checking-out from the hotel and departing to Podgorica Airport. Yet, before we wish you „goodbye“, there are a couple more things we would like to show you. Enter the cablecar for a fantastic panoramic ride over Boka Bay all the way to the tops of the glorious Mt Lovcen! Visit the famous mausoleum of Njegos and hear the stories about theocratic rulers of Montenegro from XVIII and XIX Centuries.
Proceed to the Eagle’s Nest of Montenegro, royal capital Cetinje and discover magnificent legacy of Petrovic Royal Family! Find out about the legends of the ancient Orders of St John and their relation to Cetinje; find out about the most sacred Christian artifacts which were kept in secret in Cetinje monastery... Enjoy in magnificent Cetinje cream pie before we depart to the official capital of Montenegro.
To conclude the day – let’s make lunch at famous Sipcanik Wine Cellar for a spectacular combination of pure Montenegrin wines with authentic specialties! After the lunch we will depart to the airport for final departure.
